Unity and Variety

Hey Mike and Class,

I chose the following picture below me because of its one idea and how the different elements though different unite it. Your eye is supposed to be drawn to the Ipod, which is the only object that is the color white. Holding the Ipod are four vector illustrations of people dancing. All four are dancing in various ways. However, all four figures hold onto one concept that ties the composition together.

Pattern and Textures.

Hey Mike and Class,

In this blog post I am showing the relationship between a bee hive and a geometric pattern similar to the bee hive. 

My example is a close up of a bee hive. 

After coming up with the idea of the bee hive, it was easy for me to find a pattern that could easily associate the two.
